It’s important to pay attention to the power of the motor when you are looking at a blender or a food processor. An undersized motor can lead to a lot of problems, not the least being that you could burn out that motor and end up with a dead appliance. This blender doesn’t have that problem. Its 1100 watt motor is one of the most powerful on the market and it will be strong enough to handle any task that you put to it. Many people use their blender to crush ice and this can be a challenge for small blenders. Not with this blender, it can easily crush ice into any consistency that you want with no problem.

An XL Mixing Jar With A Crushing Blade System

Have you ever been mixing something in a blender and realized you have too much to get into the mixing jar? It happens and it’s a pain. Luckily you have an extra large 72 ounce mixing jar that holds over a gallon of liquid. You can make a huge batch of mixed drinks, crush a few pounds of ice or blend a really large batch of soup without having to do two batches. The blade system works very well with the three different speeds to take care of any blending or mixing task.

Another nice feature are the two 16 ounce travel mugs that are included. These snap on to the blender and allow you to mix up a single serving of your favorite smoothie, malt or mixed drink. They both come with handy travel lids and all of these pieces can go right into the dishwasher for easy cleaning.

The large mixing jar has a lid that has a pour spout, meaning that you can use the jar as a pitcher. Both the jar and the lid are BPA free and can be washed in the dishwasher.

A Few Negatives To Consider

While this blender will do a wonderful job of blending and crushing, there are a few things to consider. First, it’s very loud! The large motor can do most anything that you ask of it but it will make a lot of noise doing it. Some people wrap a small blanket around it to muffle the sound, but that seems extreme.

The other drawback is price. While there is value in this blender, it is more expensive than some others on the market. If you will only be using your blender to mix a few drinks or malts, you may be able to go smaller and cheaper. Overall, this is a great kitchen tool to have and use!
